If you don’t know these games, let me tell you all about them briefly.
Alan Wake, released in 2010 is a psychological horror video game, developed by Remedy Entertainment. You take on the role of Alan Wake, a bestselling author who travels to the eerie town of Bright Falls to overcome his writer's block. As he searches for his missing wife, he discovers that the town is plagued by a dark force that turns people into monstrous entities known as the Taken. There is a blend of action, exploration, and an engaging narrative, presented in an episodic format just like a TV series.
Alan Wake 2, which was released in October 2023, continues the story of Alan Wake while introducing new characters and expanding the unsettling story. It delves deeper into the intertwining themes of creativity and madness, as you get to navigate a world where fiction and reality blur. In this sequel, there is an enhanced psychological horror experience with improved gameplay mechanics and graphics, making it a highly anticipated follow-up for fans of the original game and newcomers alike.
While the first Alan Wake game does not have a dedicated photo mode, you can take screenshots. However, Alan Wake 2’s photo mode enables you to take photos, capturing the haunting world of the game and beautiful portraits of the game characters.
